Types of degrees offered:

Masters and Bachelors degrees are offered in Ireland along with Diploma courses.

Requirements to do Masters in Ireland:

For Masters minimum 55% - 75% is required in graduation with IELTS 6.5 with no band less than 6.0. Some universities and colleges also accept IELTS 6.0 with no band less than 5.5.

Requirements to do Bachelors in Ireland:

For doing bachelors minimum 70% - 90% is required in class 12 for universities, 70% in class 12 for Institute of Technologies and 55% - 60% in class 12 for colleges.

Financial Requirements:

The tuition fees could amount up to Rs 1, 28,000. Living cost Rs 86,500, Visa fees (single entry) would be Rs 5000 and VFS service charge Rs 1800 total would amount to Rs 6800. Airfare from India to Dublin would be around Rs 37000. IELTS exam fee Rs 15000.

Work Options:

Students studying bachelor’s degree (ordinary) with level 7 can have post study work rights for up to 6 months. Students pursuing bachelor’s honours degree with level 8 can have post study work rights for up to 12 months. Students pursuing Master’s degree or post graduate diploma with level 9 can have post study work rights for up to 24 months. General work permit: Non EU citizen can work in Ireland in a particular organization. Individuals must have annual salary above 30,000 to qualify for work permit. Initially the work permit is granted for 2 years and can be further extended for 3 years. The work permit can be issued indefinitely after a period of 5 years. Ireland Green Card: Skilled individuals can work in Ireland for a particular employer. They should have annual salary above 60,000 to qualify for green card permit. Initially the permit is granted for 2 years. Immigrants can apply for a stamp 4 after 2 years which enables them to live and work in Ireland permanently.

Major intakes for universities are in September and January.
